Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support middle and high school students in Tucson, AZ. The role involves delivering in-person direct therapy for a total of 3 hours per week, collaborating with VOCO OTs and school staff to implement IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Current COTA licensure and credentials.
• Experience or comfort working in school-based or pediatric settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions for middle and high school students.
• Willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team and remote OT schedules.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-person direct therapy for students, aligned with their IEP goals.
• Coordinating and communicating with VOCO OTs and school staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Supporting student participation, engagement, and access in educational settings.
• Documenting interventions and progress in accordance with school district requirements.
• Advocating for student needs and fostering positive outcomes within a school environment.
