Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students across multiple K-12 schools on a contract basis. Flexible full-time or part-time hours and collaboration with a district team enable meaningful impact on student outcomes.

You will implement therapy plans, provide direct and indirect services, and coordinate with educators. Anticipate travel between campuses with ongoing professional development and district supervision.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license required.
• Experience in school-based or healthcare COTA settings preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse K-12 populations across multiple campuses.
• Familiarity with providing support as part of an educational team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable balancing a caseload and meeting IEP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an OT.
• Provide direct and indirect student services as outlined in IEPs.
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to support student success.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
• Travel between assigned schools as needed (itinerant role).
