Job summary

The Kroger Co. in Mount Orab, OH is seeking a part-time Cashier/Checker to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

You will greet customers, assist them, and handle transactions at the check lane with integrity and efficiency. Responsibilities include operating the POS, processing cash, checks, cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers per policy, and staying current with ads and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons) per policy.
• Adhere to cash shortages/overages limits and control loss.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items and keep up with ads and promotions.
• Ensure food safety regulations and store safety programs are followed.
