Kroger Co. in Loveland, CO is hiring a Cashier/Checker to deliver friendly, efficient service at the lane and throughout the store.

You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, handle cash, checks and electronic payments, and follow company policies to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting age-restricted item guidelines, price checks, promotions, safety rules and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Willingness to learn POS systems and policies.

Responsabilités

• Greet, engage and assist customers in a visible, friendly manner.
• Process cashier transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC and other payments per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and prevent loss.
• Follow guidelines for restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow price-check procedures.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and store safety programs.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report to management; perform basic equipment checks.
• Help customers with product questions and create a welcoming store environment.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced situations; manage conflicts calmly.
• Act with honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues; assist minors, seniors, and customers with special needs.
