Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home and community-based OT services for adults with developmental disabilities under NJ DDD guidelines.

The OT will assess functional performance, develop person-centered treatment plans, and maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and fine motor skills. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and mileage considerations.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; fieldwork acceptable for new grads
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Clean background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD
• Reliable transportation and NJ driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP goals.
• Deliver one-on-one OT services in home and community settings.
• Document services per DDD standards with timely notes and outcomes.
• Collaborate with support coordinators, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals.
