Job summary

At Lowe's, a Customer Service Associate greets shoppers and helps them find products while delivering practical home-improvement guidance. You’ll engage with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and ensure orders and deliveries are accurate and timely.

In this role, you may work in various departments based on store needs, with responsibilities including stocking, checkout guidance, and cross-training to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit for extended periods and perform duties.
• Lifting up to 25 lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing shelves as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., paint tint/mix, pipe work, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
