Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible, self-directed schedule and supplemental income by servicing major retailers and brands.

Projects typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month. As an independent contractor, you’ll review client instructions, perform merchandising tasks, stock and reset displays, conduct inventories,

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail or similar roles preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, displays, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued products and update materials as needed.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning.
• Stock and organize merchandise per planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean and well-presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos the same day of service.
