Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands with 12–20 hours per month on typical projects.

Earn supplemental income while managing your own schedule and selecting projects that fit your availability. You’ll perform merchandising, resets, audits, stock, and reporting using mobile tools, travel between locations, and stay active while delivering quality

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Mobile tech for reporting and project documentation.
• Availability to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.
• Submit project reports and photos on the same day.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, via mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
