Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This flexible, project-based role offers supplemental income while supporting top retailers and brands.

Assignments typically range around 12-20 hours per month with windows set by clients. You’ll review project instructions, perform merchandising tasks, inventory counts, and reporting via a mobile device. Travel between locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, displays maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Travel between retail locations as required.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
