Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and modalities.
• Treatment and Education: Monitor progress, educate patients and families on protocols and exercises.
• Documentation: Record treatments and progress in accordance with policy and standards.
• Collaboration: Work with therapists, clinicians and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
