Job summary

Fleetwood Post Acute in Easley, SC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN placement. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with physicians, families, and care teams to provide high-quality therapy.

Requirements include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active SC SLP license. Flexible PRN scheduling and potential full-time opportunities are offered within a supportive rehab

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required).
• Must meet all federal/state requirements for SLP practice.
• Must maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning.
• Conduct in-service training and staff education.
