Job summary

Greenville Post Acute is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN assignments in Greenville, SC. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with physicians, families, and the rehab team to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

The role offers flexible PRN scheduling with opportunities across our South Carolina network and potential full-time opportunities in the future.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of referral.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Supervise SLP Assistants (if applicable) in accordance with state practice guidelines.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plans, rehab meetings, and discharge planning.
• Provide staff education and in-service training.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor (including CFY support if applicable).
