Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to provide X-ray imaging and support urgent care operations. The role balances high-quality imaging with patient care and front-desk tasks in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers flexibility for qualified professionals who want to maintain skills while accommodating other commitments. Prior ER/urgent care imaging experience and ARRT certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified, RT license in good standing; state license where required.
• Active BLS certification required or onboarding period.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as an X-Ray Technologist while supporting urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely, following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care).
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
