Job summary

Kendallville Manor is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Kendallville, IN. The role focuses on helping residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence through guided, patient-centered care.

You will support licensed therapists, implement treatment plans, monitor progress, educate residents and caregivers, document accurately, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team within a flexible PRN schedule and

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Indiana.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents' strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and care team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques to support progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical, facility, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes.
