Elara Caring is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for flexible PRN scheduling, with up to 45 per point and mileage reimbursement. This role may offer full-time options as well. Applicants must hold a current PTA license valid for the state of Michigan and have graduated from an accredited PTA program.

Travel between patient homes is required, with a vehicle or reliable transportation. Join a growing home health team focused on mobility, independence, and quality care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver's license or have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Responsabilités

• Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Help patients work toward therapy goals that improve mobility, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs and techniques to support continued progress.
• Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices, including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics.
• Deliver safe, high-quality therapy services in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and state practice guidelines

Formation

Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work

Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Therapy Association
