Job summary

Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting in North Muskegon, MI is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. You will provide skilled PTAs under supervision to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Michigan PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Assist patients with improving strength, mobility, balance and endurance.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility and safety.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
