Job summary

Sobe Innovative Rehab in Boca Raton, FL seeks a licensed COTA to provide skilled occupational therapy in patients' homes under a plan of care. This PRN, home-based role offers schedule flexibility, clinical autonomy, and collaborative support to help older adults maintain independence.

Responsibilities include documenting care, communicating with physicians and families, and assisting clients with adaptive devices to improve safety at home.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Florida COTA license is required.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care.
• Implement interventions to improve functional independence and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Recommend and provide appropriate equipment and adaptive devices as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on independence and safety at home.
