Job summary

Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a licensed COTA to deliver skilled occupational therapy services in patients’ homes in Fort Pierce, FL. This PRN role supports older adults in maintaining independence and safety with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, documenting accurately, and coordinating with physicians and families. Florida licensure and an associate degree are required, with emphasis on geriatric practice and communicative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home.
