Job summary

Empowered Pilates in Chandler, AZ is seeking certified Pilates instructors to join our growing Club Pilates family. Teach group reformer classes and private sessions across locations based on availability. Ideal candidates are energetic, friendly, and able to deliver contemporary apparatus-focused workouts using Balanced Body equipment.

Qualifications

• Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus).
• Experience teaching group classes.
• Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction.
• Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated.
• Focus on exceptional customer service, including professional and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards.
• Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, using equipment like Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu, etc.
• Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level-appropriate.
• Uphold our core values to ensure a positive, inclusive studio culture.
• Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, and events as needed.
• Inspect equipment prior to class to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment.
• Assist with membership sales and client check-ins.
• Participate in events to promote the studio.
• Promote revenue through retail, memberships, events, and services; deliver the Message of the Week after class.
• Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
• Other duties as assigned
