Job summary

Optum is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for home health in the North Reading area. You will implement and supervise treatment plans under the supervising PT, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the health-care team to improve patient well-being.

The role requires state licensure/certification, CPR, and a weekend rotation. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential to serve patients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• CPR certification current.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance; access to a dependable vehicle.
• Ability to serve clients of diverse backgrounds.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home PT under supervision.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs.
• Observe and report patient progress to supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patient and family in therapy within scope.
