Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking a part-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpreting via video in a call center and on-site at customer locations as needed.

Requirements include fluent ASL and spoken English, accurate interpreting, and knowledge of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct. Attend and successfully complete a 40 hour New Hire Training; able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Exhibit professional behavior including punctuality and preparedness for shifts, respectful interaction with colleagues and supervisors, and timely and accurate record keeping.
