Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Security in Wilmington, DE. You will staff the front desk at a commercial property, control access, log visitors, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism.

This role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts through a scheduling platform to boost earnings. The position emphasizes customer service, security best practices, and working across sites with a flexible, scalable schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the building, verify visitor credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Observe front desk activity and building entry points, report unusual conditions or policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders, and complete accurate incident reports and shift documentation.
