Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer at a financial institution in Wilmington, DE. You will welcome visitors, manage access control, issue badges, monitor entry activity and provide courteous customer service.

This role offers a flexible schedule (Night shifts Fri/Sat) with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. A minimum of one year security experience and a HS diploma are preferred, with CPR certification and state licenses encouraged.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor access by verifying IDs and issuing badges.
• Monitor access points and alarm systems; report unusual conditions.
• Respond calmly to incidents per established emergency procedures.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence and document daily activities.
