Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time for our Wilmington, DE site to deliver professional front-desk security and customer service. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Pay is $17.00 per hour with the potential to scale hours through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of security-related experience.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests in accordance with building access protocols.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security‑related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records while communicating professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.
