As a part-time guard, you will use strong communication and customer service skills to address inquiries and maintain records, supporting a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Background histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access to the location, greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Answer phones, direct guests and deliveries, and communicate information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.
