Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Protective Patrol in Scranton, PA. This role offers fixed shifts with additional shifts available through the Earn‑More program to increase earnings.

The position pays $18.00 per hour and runs a DayTime schedule from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM at a healthcare facility. For success, candidates must commit to a six‑month anchor shift, meet minimum requirements, and pass background and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient care areas, public spaces, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and checking credentials as required.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
