Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Dispatch in Jessup, PA. This flexible position offers reliable hours, a fixed anchor shift, and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

The role pays $17.00 per hour, with a focus on customer service, access control, and incident response. You must have at least 1 year in security, be 18+ (21+ if armed), and possess a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete clear and timely reports, including patrol observations, access-related activity, incidents, and any security-related concerns.
