Allied Universal in Scranton, PA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Protective Patrol to provide reliable, site-based security services at a healthcare facility. The role emphasizes customer service, routine patrols, access control, and incident response within a patient-care environment.

The position offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional hours through our scheduling platform, and a pay rate of $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience within a security role or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform unarmed patrols and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.
• Communicates clearly and follows site procedures for emergencies and alarms.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and carry out routine security tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors through site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient care areas, public spaces, and facility perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and reporting unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications as required.
