Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers, scan barcodes on displays and in aisles, and collect data for improving product and retailer performance. The role offers flexible hours, weekly assignments, and ongoing projects throughout the year.

As a Retail Scan Associate you’ll use a mobile app for barcode scanning, lift as needed, and work toward consistent weekly deadlines. This position emphasizes independence and reliability in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach 6 feet, bend and kneel as needed.
• Proficient with mobile app and scanning technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collection at assigned retailers every week for 52 weeks.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines and complete display scanning across the store.
• Handle Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours on weeks with requests.
