Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly and conduct barcode scans across displays and aisles. The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and consistent weekly data collection for client reports.

You will scan using a mobile app, track product quantities for a portion of items, and support special projects during peak periods. Flexibility and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• In-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Retail Scan Associates use a downloadable app on their mobile phone to scan barcodes.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of products scanned.
• Work with major brand retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and others.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver accurate data to clients.
