Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Store types include grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores, with major retailers and independents alike.

Associates use a downloadable app on their mobile phones to scan barcodes and report quantities for about 45% of scanned products.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods; access to products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; reach 6 feet; bend, stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently; deadline-driven.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores each week to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and collect product quantity data.
• Complete in-store data collection year-round with flexibility in hours.
• Work across multiple store types and assist with special projects as needed.
