Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles, helping improve product and retailer performance. The role offers independence, flexible hours, and steady in-store activity across grocery and other retailers.

You will use a downloadable mobile app to scan items, report to deadlines, and participate in recurring project work that adds 30 minutes to 2 hours in some weeks. This position remains open for about 30 days.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in assigned stores using a mobile app.
• Complete in-store data collections at least weekly for 52 weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate scan data.
• Handle display scanning and data collection in various store types.
• Support clients with data quality and timely reporting.
• Engage with stores for consistent data collection across locations.
