ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates in Fitchburg, MA to visit local stores and scan product barcodes using a mobile app. You will contribute data for display scans, aisle locations, and end caps, with travel paid at your hourly rate and flexible scheduling across 52 weeks.

The role requires independence, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods. A valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and access to Wi‑Fi are essential. Training provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays, aisles and end caps.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across multiple store locations.
• Provide quantity data for a portion of scanned products as required.
• Complete store-wide display scanning and participate in special projects when needed.
• Schedule typically 6–12 hours per week with additional hours for busy periods.
