Job summary

ScanScape is hiring Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores across Massachusetts, performing weekly barcode scans on displays and aisles. The role offers flexible hours, consistent part-time work, and independence in daily tasks.

Most shifts average 10–15 hours per week, with occasional extra hours for special projects and peak periods. Associates use a mobile app to scan items, track product quantities, and meet weekly deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Tech-savvy with a mobile app for scanning.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi access required.
• Attention to detail and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout the store and report quantities when required.
• Complete in-store data collection across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass stores.
• Support custom projects that add 1–2 hours of work for select weeks.
