Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and collect data by scanning product barcodes using a mobile app. You will work 7–12 hours per week with potential extra hours for special projects, across grocery, convenience, and mass merchandise locations.

You’ll partner with major brand retailers and be responsible for timely data delivery. A valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to stand for long periods are required, with some roles offering

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must own a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach overhead.
• Able to perform repetitive hand/arm/leg movements.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently under deadlines.
• Self-starter with strong time-management skills.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Work 7–12 hours per week, with additional hours for special projects.
• Perform display scanning across the entire store weekly.
• Report quantities for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver quality data to clients.
• Collaborate with major retailers and national chains.
