Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates in Shrewsbury, MA to perform in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year across grocery, convenience, drug, and other retailers. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes and occasionally provide quantities for about 45% of products.

Hours average 4–10 per week per store, with extra hours for special projects. Flexibility in scheduling and paid travel at your hourly rate are offered, along with eligibility for a 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in designated stores using a mobile app each week.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Perform Display Scanning across the store on a weekly basis.
• Contribute to Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for each store.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high-quality data to clients.
• Report to your store within the described deadlines.
• Maintain dependability and a proactive approach in a flexible, independent role.
