Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations. This position offers flexibility in hours and consistent work across multiple stores.

You will use a mobile app to scan items, report quantities for about 45% of products, and complete in-store data collection across grocery, mass retail, and specialty stores.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access store products.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach elevated areas.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and tech-savviness.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan items.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Perform weekly display scanning across the store.
• Handle Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours when required.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver data to clients.
