The nurse will provide safe, compassionate care on a specific unit and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements include graduation from a state approved nursing program, IL RN license, CPR/BLS, with ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• IL RN License.
• CPR/BLS by American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS by American Heart Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care on a specific unit using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other health-team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Guide and direct unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering care and participate in care planning with patients and families.
