Job summary

Endeavor Health Evanston is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time role (32 hr/wk) with a flexible start time from 5a to Noon and 8 hr shifts Monday–Friday. Travel to other Endeavor Hospitals may be required, and the position emphasizes safe, compassionate nursing care and collaborative planning.

Required is graduation from a state-approved nursing program with IL RN license; CPR/BLS is required, ACLS and PALS preferred. BSN is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing.
• IL RN License required; CPR/BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Must be able to work on a unit with flexible start times.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective nursing care for all patient populations on a unit.
• Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Involve patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in practice.
• Directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering care.
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, and other health team members to ensure outcomes.
