Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking an experienced Physician to join our clinical team for a part-time role (at least 3 days per week) in skilled nursing facilities.

You will manage your own panel, provide primary and episodic care, and build long-term relationships with residents and families. The position offers flexible scheduling, 6-hour shifts (7–10 a.m.), charting from home, and a path to full benefits with a strong retention incentive.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified (BC) Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day in a mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic and co-morbid conditions.
• Review meds and orders; respond to acute changes; coordinate with specialists and facility staff.
• Join care conferences with families when appropriate to keep care seamless.
