Job summary

Takeda is seeking a part-time phlebotomist for BioLife Plasma Center in Sheboygan, WI. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor during donation, and manage plasmapheresis equipment.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with training provided. Physical tasks include lifting and glove-use due to bloodborne exposure; prior customer-facing experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Lift up to 32 lbs. and occasional 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne exposure.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
