Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand during shifts.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays availability.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop and reach above shoulders.
• Lift up to 5 lbs and occasional heavier lifts up to 32 lbs.
• Glove use due to bloodborne exposure risk.
• 1+ year customer or patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors entering and exiting the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors and manage any donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donor flow and compensate donors using debit cards.
• Support center management in operational improvements and Kaizen.
