Intuitive Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Access Advocate for mid-shift coverage in Carmel, IN. The role involves greeting patients, registering information, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and directing patients within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Typing speed 50 wpm minimum.
6 months healthcare setting or 1 year customer service experience.
Basic understanding of insurance preferred.
Proficient with EHR and basic office equipment.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and answer the phone in a courteous, professional manner.
Register patients, update demographics, verify insurance and collect copayments.
Process visit closures, collect payments, and follow up as needed.
Enter information into electronic health records and related systems.
Provide wayfinding and information to patients and visitors.
Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and waiting area.
