Zusammenfassung

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients in their homes in accordance with established care plans. You will help with daily living activities and personal care, documenting changes and communicating with the supervising nurse.

Responsibilities include safe transfers, vital signs per orders, and maintaining patient dignity and comfort. The role offers a part-time schedule with flexible hours and competitive pay to support patient independence.

Qualifikationen

• Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients with daily living activities per plan of care (baths, hygiene, dressing, feeding).
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered.
• Ensure safe transfers, ambulation and positioning.
• Implement range of motion and simple procedures as ordered.
• Handle patient laundry and safety needs; observe home safety practices.
• Communicate clearly with client, family, and supervising office.
• Observe patient condition, document changes and report to nurse supervisor.
