Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in Westfield, MA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings, and a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

Schedule includes DayTime Sun 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with potential to scale up toward a full-time schedule. This position emphasizes customer service, security procedures, and rapid incident response at a retail site.

Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Criminal histories will be considered in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and suspicious activity calmly and professionally following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate observations and concerns to relevant personnel.
