Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Access Control in Philadelphia, PA. This role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our platform, providing flexible hours and income stability.

Pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The position supports a base schedule with opportunities to scale up to a full-time schedule across multiple sites, while maintaining part-time status. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of security-related experience required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
