Allied Universal in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Mobility to provide reliable security services at a designated site with flexible hours and opportunities to earn more by picking additional shifts.

The role offers anchor shifts, a framework to advance to full-time, and access to scheduling tools, training, and benefits. You will perform patrols, control access, and respond to incidents with calm, professional service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee entry per site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in required reports.
