Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health in California is hiring compassionate Behavior Technicians to support children and individuals with autism through one-on-one ABA therapy. The role focuses on developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

Part-time afternoon and evening shifts with a minimum of 15 hours per week, paid training, growth opportunities, and support from BCBAs. Training is paid; RBT exam reimbursement available; a chance to advance to Lead, Senior, or Specialist BT

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a professional, educational, caregiving, or similar capacity.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability for at least 15 hours per week, primarily during afternoons and evenings, with the ability to maintain a consistent agreed-upon schedule.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to complete applicable pre-employment screening including background checks and TB testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision.
• Help clients develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based ABA strategies.
• Collect session data, track client progress, and document accurately and timely.
• Provide services in clients' homes, schools, communities, or other settings.
• Collaborate with supervisors, BCBAs, caregivers, and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
