Beachmont Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-time Behavior Technician to provide individualized ABA services to children and adults with autism and related needs. Services are delivered primarily in clients' homes, with opportunities in centers, schools, and community settings. Pay is $21–$26 per hour, with a Monday–Friday 12:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Availability Monday-Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and consistent attendance for assigned sessions.
• Reliable transportation to assigned service locations throughout Thousand Oaks and Oxnard.
• Access to a compatible mobile device for scheduling, data collection, and documentation.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to complete required training and applicable pre-employment screening.
• Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
• Experience in ABA, education, childcare, disability services, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, or related fields is preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized skill-acquisition programs and behavior support plans developed by a BCBA.
• Help clients practice meaningful skills through structured teaching, play, daily routines, and community activities.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, adaptive, self-help, and independence skills.
• Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, family members, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Collect accurate data using our electronic data collection system and complete objective session documentation.
• Collaborate with your BCBA and BAAs, participate in training, and implement clinical feedback.
• Follow individualized safety procedures and promptly report concerns or significant events.
• Maintain dependable attendance, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality.
