Magnolia Post Acute in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team. You will screen and evaluate patients, and deliver rehabilitative care tailored to geriatric needs in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and create care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments per regulatory standards.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and wound care as part of therapy programs.
• Administer procedures in rehabilitation plans, including exercises and modalities.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers about physical disorders and care goals.
• Prepare discharge summaries confirming services provided and outcomes.
